More Pictures of Olivia

Here is her pretty NICU sleeper they have her in! It has ballerina feet! I asked if I could bring in my own clothes, but they told me that they lose things.
With her IV in her arm. This has been removed now, and she is much happier being able to move her arms! YAY!

This is the first time I got to hold her. She is so sweet! And I loved her little bow they put on her! It was much easier to hold her before all the wires...

Just after she was born hanging out being observed. We had no idea we were in for such a scare, she looked perfect!

Her first bath. Daddy got to be there with her.

Another Update:

She is OFF oxygen!! I just went into to feed her and they removed her oxygen and she did really well, her number actually stayed at 100 most of the time (perfect) so this was really exciting, so pray she continues to do well. They are also letting me feed her every 3 hours, however she is so sleepy she is not eating much at all, but they said this is normal and not to worry and to just keep on trying. She is also wearing clothes! This was a big deal to me, not sure why exactly, but she wearing clothes seemed like a big step. She looks so sweet, I will post more pictures of her tomorrow when we get home and have our camera cord. We are still here at the hospital in a boarder room, which has been nice, but it is hard to get a good night's sleep, I am really missing my bed. Thanks for the continued prayers and support.

Update on Livvy

Well, we have good news and bad news. The good news is all of her tests have come back negative, and it seems she only quit breathing because of immature lungs. But, the bad news is that means that she has to stay in the NICU 7 more days without another episode of not breathing. She has been doing really well, her oxygen has been decreased to .5% which means she should be off really soon. Poor baby does have 2 IV's in her head, which just breaks my heart, but it seems like there are less tubes everytime we see her. I never knew a little body could be pricked and poked so much. She gets so mad when they move her around a lot, but she settles down pretty quickly. And her cry is so sweet, and it is really sweet to me as it is sounding as rattley (is this a word!?) as it did at first. I cannot wait to take her home with us, and have her cord free! Thanks for all the prayers, I know they are working, and in 7 days she will be home!!

Our GIRL is here!

Olivia Kate Larson arrived yesterday at 2:51 PM after 5 short hours of labor. She is 6lbs 12oz, and 19in. We are so in love! She has had breathing problems (she stopped last night! SO SCARY), and is in the NICU now on oxygen, and is having some more testing done. She has already had a lot in short life. She is strong though, and we are trying to be. Please keep her in your prayers, she will probably be spending the next week or so in the NICU, but we are praying to take her home before that.

Livvy's lungs aren't ready...

So, it looks like we won't be meeting Olivia until the 28th now. I had my amnio this morning, which in case anybody was wondering was not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. And Livvy's lungs are not ready. I was not very well prepared for that possibility, so it was pretty upsetting to me, but it's only one more week. And, I definitely want what is best for her, so in she stays! I will have a several more appointments and heavy monitoring before next Wednesday. Please keep Olivia in your prayers! The further along you get with my ICP the more risk to baby, so it is scary, but I have faith that she will arrive her safely- next Wednesday. My Doctor has scheduled that day, and it will be no later.

The Girl's Room

Olivia and Ansley will be sharing a room for now, we are lucky that it is a big room! We found this book case and Ikea and LOVE it! It has made toy clean up so much easier, and I feel so organized with it. Lol...
Ansley's bed. I want to get Vinyl monograms for over both beds, but haven't gotten them yet. I am still looking for the perfect ones!
Livvy's crib! I searched high and low for the perfect one. I am very pleased with this one. Cannot wait to see her in it! And see that oh so wonderful kitchen beside it... Still love that thing...

A belly picture!

I realized I have not posted a single picture of my belly- because I have not taken one, which is so sad to me now! So, here I am! Thanks Preston for taking it! I should have had you edit it too! Lol...
AND, it looks like Olivia will be here on January 23rd. Not positive on this date yet, but that is what it is looking like!

Santa came to our house too!

I just cannot keep with my blog lately! Sorry! We had a wonderful Christmas with my family this year. It was so nice to have everyone here (Preston and Katy came in from Florida)! Ansley kept saying it was the best Christmas she ever had. Of course, my camera was dead, so here are few pictures my brother sent me. And of course blogger loaded them in the wrong order!? Or maybe that is my fault!

A rare picture of Curtis and I together! Honestly, unless they are professionally done, we never make it in a picture together!
Ansley showing off her "bitty baby" she loves the doll SO much!

Here we all are watching Ansley discover her presents from Santa!

Gifts from Santa :)
