Almost Walking.

Miss Olivia is taking 5-8 steps at a time now! Won't be long before this baby is walking all over the place. A few short months and she will be 1! Party planning has begun. I am sad my baby is getting so big!!
p.s. had I not left the disc at the photo lab, our new family pictures would be up.

Merry Christmas!

Gonna get these in the mail today.... I hope....

A tooth!

Olivia got her first tooth this week. I found it on Sunday while at church. I cannot believe at nearly 10 months old this girl FINALLY got a tooth. I was beginning to think she might not ever get teeth. She will not open her mouth enough for me to get a picture. She insists on sticking her tongue out every time I try... Oh well.

Sweat Pants

As I was putting Ansley's sweats on her this morning (and yes I am now finding it odd that I was actually dressing my 5 year old, guess I need to work on that!?) she asked me if we were going on anywhere today. I told her that we were, her response:
"Then why am I wearing stay at home pants?"
Haha! My little fashionista....

Happy Halloween!!

For Halloween this year Ansley was a black cat, and Olivia was Olivia the pig from the Olivia books. I am very proud to say that I made both of their costumes. For Ansley it was just a tail and ears, but for Livvy I made her ears, and dress. They looked so cute! I had a terrible time trying to get pictures of them. This is the best I got...

The glow sticks they got trick-or-treating. Neither one would hold still!?

This is the only one with Ansley and Olivia that was even close to okay... It is so hard to get them to look at the camera. And for those that have not seen me with dark hair, here it is.

Livvy's nose was painted pink, and I put two little black dots on it. She looked SO cute! And her bows on her ears like Olivia the pig :) LOVED it!

Mommy and Livvy!

Olivia at 9 months:

Baby Livvy is almost a year old- just a few short months!? She is one busy baby! At nine months she is:
  • Pulling up and crusing the furniture.
  • Crawling everywhere!
  • Saying Mama, Dada, and what sounds like 'baby"
  • Eating finger foods like: puffs, cut up pear, frozen peas, cantalope...
  • Loves her big sister Ansley, and gets big smiles when she first sees her in the morning.
  • Sleeping 8 hours at night, waking up, and going back to sleep for a few more. This is a huge improvement, and I cannot complain.
  • Climbs the entire flight of stairs.
  • Still has no teeth!?
  • Napping once a day, at 12:30 for about 2 hours. You are not a good napper Miss Olivia... Mommy is really working on it!
  • Standing alone for a few seconds occasionally.
  • Wearing 6-12 month clothes. Finally.
  • Says "mmmm..." when ever you eat anything. So cute.

Olivia weighs 17 pounds 14 ounces (25th percentile) and is 27.5 inches (25th percentile). Her head circumference is still in the 3rd or so percentile, at 17 cm. She is the sweetest thing! And we love her so!!

My cute little ladies:

It is nearly impossible to get them to look anywhere near the camera at the same time. This wasn't too bad! I love my little ladies!

Sweet...

Napping after church.

Greek Yogurt

After trying tons of different food with Olivia with little success we finally found something she likes! Greek yogurt of all things!? What can I say, she is a girl after my own heart! She loves the stuff with a little cinnamon sprinkled in it. While she may not look to enthused in the photos, I assure you, she like the stuff! And I could not be happier with her choice, because incase you didn't know, greek yogurt is SO good for you! She has in the past few days started eating other things as well including: kiwi, cantalope, carrots, and avocado. All things she orignally didn't like! I have hope this girl won't be a picky eater! Yay!

Ansley is FIVE!!!

Ansley turned the big 5 on October 16th! Unforuntely she was sick on her big day! It was so SAD!! I had planned a wonderful birthday party for her at a spa here that does the coolest little parties for girls. We had to cancel it the night before! Bummer. It is rescheduled- in November! Luckily, we had already celebrated with Curtis' family so she had gotten to blow out candles and open a few presents! More to come on her birthday after her party....
The much loved Doctor's kit! G&G Larson have one at their house that keeps all the grandkids well entertained! She loves it!
Blowing out her candels on the cupcakes I made (well Curtis made, and I frosted).

Livvy Talks

She has started babbling "blah, blah. blah, blah" with inflection it is hilarious, especially combined with her arms going all over the place in the air! This morning when Curtis was talking to her, and she responded with her new banter, "blah, blah, blah, blah, BLAH" he told her to quit being such a smart alick! Won't be long before she is keeping up with Ansley!?

(I need to get this on video!)

It's too soon, right!?

For Livvy to be pulling herself up that is!????

Busy!

Sorry for the lack of blog updates, we have been super busy wrapping up summer! Block parties, going away parties, and birthday parties having been filling my weeks!

Ansley starts ballet today, I am more excited than she is I think! She is taking a combo class of tap, jazz and ballet- I cannot wait to get her dressed in her leotard and tights, and do her hair!!! How cute is she going to be!? Her preschool starts in 2 weeks, this will be her 4th year... Gotta love that she misses the kindergarten cut off by just a month and a half. Of course, Ansley is still cracking us up with the funny things she says! Yesterday she told a friend that she looked pretty, but that she thinks a lot of things are pretty, because she is looking for the beauty all around her now, when the friend asked what that meant, she said that when she was in my tummy she had nothing to look at, so now she sees lots of pretty things! She also told us that Olivia does the "whale" trying to explain her crawling technique- Curtis said, "the whale, do you mean the worm?" She said, "yeah, I mean the worm."

Olivia is growing, and getting so much more personality by the day! She spent most of August with a cold that kept her pretty fussy, and me exhausted from long nights. Luckily, she is now feeling much better, and back to her happy little self! Like Ansley poitned out, she is still not really crawling, she is doing the worm. I know it really bugs her that she can't get around as quickly as she would like- but she is patient, and keeps trying!

I am hoping that once school starts back we will have a little more time for blogging!

6 Months!

My little Livvy is 6 months! Where has the time gone!? That is half a year! WOW! Yesterday she had her 6 month Dr.'s visit. I had planned to have my Mom come and watch Ansley while I took Olivia for her shots. So, yesterday morning my Mom comes over at 9:00 to watch Ansley, who just woke up and is still in her jammies. As I am walking out the door I tell my Mom that I am sad that Livvy has to get shots (because it is awful watching your baby get poked!). Ansley freaked out, like sobbing! She runs to the door and stands to where I cannot open it, and tells me that she doesn't want anyone to hurt her sister, and that she is NOT getting shots! All through sobs. She then proceeds to run to the car and buckle herself into her carseat in her nightgown! I ended up letting her come with me, and my Mom tagged along to help. On the way Ansley said what I think might just be the sweetest thing ever, "I wish I was Olivia so I could get the shots for her." How sweet is that!? What a good big sister!!!
The Doctor's appointment went fine, and Ansley left the room while we did the shots! Livvy barely cried, and actually grinned a the nurse after he was done.
She weighed in at 15lbs 12oz (47th percentile), 26 inches (60 percentile), and her head which I cannot remember the measurement for is finally in the 20th percentile! Dr. said she was doing well, and doing all that she should be at this age!
Liv is up on all fours, and scoots everwhere! She has started laughing a ton! And she has tried avocado, sweet potato, bananas, and apples, and was pretty unimpressed with all of them. She still likes mama's milk best- and that is fine with me!

Update

I met with the doctor yesterday about my liver. He basically said that he just wants to watch the spot and see if it grows or not. I will be having an MRI in 3 months. He also wants to do a HYDA scan on my gallbladder, because he says my syptoms have to be caused from a diseased gallbladder, even though I have no stones. If I do have my gallbladder removed then they will do a biopsy of my liver spot since they will already be in there. He said that to remove the mass would be major and invasive surgery, so he doesn't want to go that route if he does not have to, as most of these things are pretty harmless... Not exactly what I was hoping for as we still don't have the most clear answers, but I feel at least some relief.

Never a dull moment!

Since most know, and it easier for some to keep up with us through my blog, I just wanted clue everyone in on what's going on around here. About 2 weeks ago I went in for an u/s to look for gall stones, and while my gallbladder looked good, they found a large mass on my liver. As of now, they do not know what the mass is. They do know that is big- bigger than they thought it was, at 8 cm. There are some ideas as to what it may be, the most likely one being a hepatic adenoma- you can google that one for more info, and it will probably have to be surgically removed. I was supposed to have an appoinment today with a specialist, but found out yesterday that they do not take my insurance (which is SO SO SO frustrating, because I want to know what this thing is growing inside of me, and more than anything, I want it OUT!), so it looks like I will be waiting ANOTHER week to see what is going on. Incase any one wanted to know, I do feel sick pretty much all time, I have pain in my liver a lot, and I am TIRED!!! So, that is what I know right now, I will keep everyone up to date!

My Ansley...

Listen to what she just said to me:

"Mom, you were much prettier on your wedding day than you are today, because you wouldn't have wanted Curtis to think you are gross, right?

Ah....

Thanks babe!

And she said:

"Heavenly Father isn't controlling the world very well today because it is SO hot outside!"

She always keeps us laughing!

Montage

Here is the montage Preston did for me! Just in case you cannot click on it to make it bigger is says, no joys on earth bring greater pleasure than little girls to love and treasure! Don't you think he could do these for people? I do! And he did this for me SO quick! Love you Preston!!!

Father's Day Pictures

Curtis never wants anything for Father's Day, so you can imagine it is always hard to come up with a gift for the occasion! After much thought, I decided to have pictures done of all his girls :)
My good friend Triana and I loaded up (with my Mom in tow to help with the kiddies) and headed to Curtis' grandparents old house to get some shots! We had no idea we were in for SUCH a day! Rain, an uncooperative Ansley, and a baby who DOES not smile for the camera for anything and Triana still got some AMAZING pictures! I was thrilled when I saw the sneak peek on her blog, and after my WONDERFUL brother Preston made an amazing montage for me (which I want to put up- because he really needs to sell them) I couldn't even wait until Father's Day to give them to Curtis! He was so surprised, especially when he found out we did them at his grandparent's!

This is SO Livvy I can hardly stand it! She is one serious girl!

My ABSOLUTE fav! I love my girls!
And one of all 3 of us! Unfortunately because of the rain, we were unable to get orchard pics, which was the whole point of using Curtis' grandparent's house... But these tires made for a cool backround- that was closer to the car in case it started pouring :) Which it did...

Thanks again Triana! Curtis LOVED LOVED his pictures!

Blake and Ashlee are MARRIED!!!!

On Friday June 12th, Blake and Ashlee (Curtis' little sis) were married in the Mt. Timpanogos temple. It was a beautiful day! We headed out to Roosevelt that night for the reception on Saturday! Ashlee looked BEAUTIFUL- which was no surprise! We had a great time with family. I cannot wait to see the professional pictures, but here are a few we got from the day, unfortunately I didn't get a good one of Ashlee and her dress!
Again, Congrats Blake and Ashlee, we are SO happy for you!

Trying to get 5 little girls to sit still and all look in the same direction is NOT easy!
Haha! I think this is the best we got! At least Apri doesn't have Jordan in a choke hold this time!
Ansley LOVES her cousins!
Okay, just saw this random Disney on ice pic- don't know what happened there, how how to take it off..... THIS is supposed to be Ashlee and Blake... Hmm...

Ansley and Me. She said it was too bright! Maybe I should have listend to her :)

Two more LOVE birds!

Unlike her little sister, Ansley is NOT shy! Lol... In typical Ansley fashion, here is my girl and her future husband! She and Maddax had a great time swimming at my Grandma's pool, while his mama and I chatted! It was so fun to see you Sarah- we are doing it again next year! Dax is such a cutie!!!

Love at First Sight!

Olivia and Thatcher met for the first time while we were in Georgia! Clearly, they were smitten!
Thatcher reached for Livvy's hand, it was so sweet! It was so much fun to see these two babies together! Thach was ALL boy, and Livvy is very much a girl!

These two love birds were born just one week apart, Livvy being the older woman! Thatcher is SO strong, it was impressive to see him move all over the place at just 3 months old!

I will be showing them this picture on their wedding day! :)

4 Months!

Olivia was 4 months a week ago, and just had her 4 month appointment yesterday! She is 13 lbs 13 oz, and 25 inches! She is growing growing! The Doctor said that he was impressed with her mobility, and how strong she is. She was all over the table while he was checking her out, my little wiggle worm! This month I have seen such a big difference in her, she is getting quite the personality, and it is so fun to watch! She is so smiley, and although she isn't laughing yet, she is cooing and talking tons. She rolls from front to back, and loves for me to hold unto her finger and pull her to a sitting posistion. Olivia took her first plane rides this month, and did beautifully, only crying on the small plane, which we think bothered her little ears (it did mine too, so this has to be it, right!?). Livvy loves her sister Ansley, and is always excited when Ansley plays with her, and talks to her. She loves being outside, and really enjoyed the pool, and didn't even mind the boat ride we took!

Enjoying the SUN!

We are in Florida! Loving the sunshine, and seeing our family! We have been hitting up all our favorite restaurants, checking out the new shopping that Panama City Beach now has to offer, and relaxing! Although we haven't been to the beach yet all, we have enjoyed a few days by the pool! We are heading to Atlanta to take Curtis to the airport, and to see my best friend Jessie, and her new little boy Thatcher! I am BEYOND excited for our babies to meet, because they WILL be getting married one day! Then we are stopping in Huntsville to see family there, and for the to meet Olivia! I am sure many pictures of our visit will be up soon! Hope everyone had a lovely Mother's Day, I know I did :)

My Funny Ansley...

Yesterday after not buying her the toy she begged me for at the store, she looks at me and says, "Mom, did they even have toys when you were growing up?" I have never felt so old. Lol...
And, on Monday night while teaching a family home evening lesson about honesty, I asked her what the word honesty meant, she said, "To dress appropriately" Haha, she got it a bit confused with the word, MODESTY, silly girl- she did use the word appropriately though!

Little Liv

Loves her SLING! And so does Mommy! LIFE SAVER! I never had one of these with Anlsey, so when my Grandparent's came to visit, they were kind enough to purchase me one! LOVE it so much!!!! Honestly, if you have a baby, you need a sling, or a Moby, or a Bjorn- something!

Sleeping Livvy! So pretty! I love this baby girl so much! She has such a sweet spirit about her! AND she is sleeping 8 hours a night straight now- LOVE that too!

*Thanks Em for the pictures, I am SO bad about taking pictures!*

GNO!

A few weeks ago I emjoyed a fun girl's night with two good friends! Thanks Curtis for watching Ansley, it is so nice to have a break every now and then!

Random!

Here is a sweet smile, caught on camera by Aunt Haley! Check out those chubby cheeks! I love them so!!!
Ansley, Mommy, Liv, and Haley! Haley is a good photographer, huh?

Mommy and her girls!

And, in case you haven't heard, Ansley is the tooth fairy! My Dad and she have this little thing they started about a year ago, thanks to this book pictured below, where she is the tooth fairy, and he is Willy (the little boy in the book, because his name is William, but he goes by Bill). She really believes that she is the tooth fairy, so when you ask her name it is Ansley McCall Tooth fairy! So funny! So here she is with the book!

Oh, and Aunt Haley took all of these pictures to send to her missionary Clay! We love him and MISS him! Ansley is going to marry him FIRST (before Haley that is!), she has a grand plan devised! She is going to lock Haley in her room, with a million pieces of food, and water, until she can marry Clay first! Haha!

Disney on Ice

In March we took Ansley to see Disney on Ice. Curtis can get discount tickets through work, so we thought it would be fun to take her. My watched Olivia for us, so it was a special day for just Ansley! We let her dress up as a princess for the occasion, and met Curtis' brother and his family for lunch before we all went to the show!

Don't they both look thrilled to be having their pictures taken?

It's hard to get a good picture of the show, but it really is fun!

Ansley has been asking for one of these snow cones since the show last year! NOT KIDDING, so we broke down and got the $9 thing and she was so so happy!

Mommy and Ansley

Ansley and Cousin Apri! I am so glad these two get a long so well! Ansley loves Apri!

She's 2 Months Old!

Olivia was 2 months old last Saturday, but had her 2 month doctor's visit today! She did very well, and the Doctor said she looks perfect! She is still a peanut (well at least for me!) weighing in at 11 pounds 5 ounces (and this with a full diaper and full tummy) putting her in the 43rd percentile, 22 inches long (17th percentile), and a head circumference of 15 inches, which is the 16th percentile (up from the 2nd at her 2 week check!).

At 2 months Olivia is starting to smile a lot more, and coo! I love it! She is such a sweet baby girl, very calm and patient, like her Dad! She is also very strong, and lifts her head when on her tummy very well! Ansley is SO good with her, and loves holding her.

I am so grateful for a healthy baby girl! I feel so blessed!!

A few Wedding Pictures

Just for fun, since the post below talks about our wedding, here a few pictures from the day! I wish I had pictures on my computer of the candy bar, cupcake tower, and the oyster shucker.... I'll have to get those sometime and put them on here, because I loved those details! I have decided I really am obsessed with weddings, and I should be a wedding planner! Oh and you have to click on the picture to see the whole thing for some reason, don't know what I did wrong!?

The Wedding Day

I saw this on a friend's blog, and thought it was fun. I am still going private, so if you haven't left me your e-mail, please do so! And feel free to copy and paste and do this on your blog! I love learning more about everyone!

1) When was your wedding day? July 28th, 2007

2) What day of the week was it? Saturday

3) Did you get married in a church? No, we had a beautiful ceremony on the water in Florida, and look forward to be sealed in the temple (most likely Mt.Timinogas).

4) How many in your wedding party? I had 4 bridesmaids, and Curtis had 3 groomsmen, and Ansley was the flower girl!

5) How many guests were invited to your wedding? Around 100. Being a second marriage we kept it relatively small

6) How long did you wait to tie the knot after your proposal? About 7 months

7) Did you register for gifts? No

8) Who did you hire as your photographer & videographer? We had a wonderful friend who did the photography, and did an AWESOME job! I am seriously LOVE our pictures. And my brother's girlfriend's (now wife) sister's boyfriend (got that) did a wedding video, which may or may not be good, because we still have not seen it nearly 2 years later. Oh well!

9) Did you have a DJ or a band? We had a DJ.

10) Did the father walk the bride down the aisle? Yep he did.

11) What color were the bridesmaid dresses & groomsmen vests? The bridesmaid dresses, which were a nightmare, and had to be altered the day of the wedding, were a beautiful teal color. They looked awesome in pictures, but seriously were THE biggest pain of the entire wedding! The groomsmen wore khaki pants and teal striped shirts, no tie. It was a "beach" wedding afterall.

12) Who was the Maid Of Honor? The Best Man? Didn't really have a "declared" mair of honor, but the best man was Curtis' Dad.

13)What were your colors? A pale teal, lime green and periwinkle.

14) Did the bride have a bridal shower? No

15) What type of limo did you get? We did not do a limo, and no one decorated our car either, I don't think! Sad, I cannot remember that!

16) What type of wedding gown/tux did you two wear? I had a beautiful white dress with a full skirt, and a teal sash that tied around the waist! I LOVE me dress! Curtis wore a Khaki suit and teal tie.

17) How was the weather? HOT and HUMID! Florida in July. We actually waited until 7 to do the ceremony because we knew it would be so hot otherwise.

18) Where did you go on your Honeymoon? You will all be SO jealous! We drove cross country in a Uhaul with all my stuff! I know, you wish your honeymoon and been so fabulous! BUT, we did stay a few nights at the resort where we were married before packing up and moving. And for our one year anniversary we were in Scotland, but was all know how much I enjoyed that trip...

19) What was your favorite part of your wedding day? I loved every minute of the day! It was perfect, and beautiful, and everything I ever wanted. Truely my DREAM wedding!!!

20) How long have you been married? It will be two years in July.

21) What was the most memorable "bridezilla" moment? Hmm... Not sure I had any. But, if you ask my parents they might be able to name a few. Lol..

22) What was your most memorable wedding-related mental breakdown? The bridesmaid dresses. Like I said before, NIGHTMARE! They were not completed until the day of, and then they did not fit the girls, and my sweet friend Carrie, who was a bridesmaid, brought her sewing machine up to the venue and altered them, and I must say, they looked great in the picures, even if some of the girls couldn't breath, one of the ripped, and they had 80's prom dress sleeves...

23) What would you change about your day? Nothing. It was all perfect!

24) What was your most memorable Wedding moment? The father daughter dance, it was very special for me. Everything was wonderful with Curtis, but knowing my Dad was so happy about my marriage was really nice!

Olivia's Ambulance Ride

Um, first of all, WHY does blogger load my pictures BACKWARDS! That is annoying. So I am playing catch-up here. But, these are pictures from her very expensive ride to Primary's! Glad we have good insurance, because 30 minutes is $3200!!!

Our view of the ambulance, because we did not ride with her.

Loading her in. It was really sad, because there were people watching, and they were all so concerned, and kept saying, "aw, poor baby" It made it that much worse for me...

In her isolet. Look how tiny she looks!

And here is a picture with Cari! We LOVED Cari, she was fabulous!
